Paul Stephen

Of all the places an actor could find himself, Paul is delighted to be on tour but still sleeping in his own bed every night. Acting Shakespeare is Paul’s first love, but he hasn’t limited himself to the Bard. He has found himself in dramas, comedies and musicals of all descriptions. Favourite roles have included: Dr. Bradman in Blithe Spirit (Grand Theatre, London); Victor Prynne in Private Lives (Sunshine Festival, Orillia); Gremio in The Taming of the Shrew (Heritage Theatre, Brampton); Albert Lennox in the musical The Secret Garden (Thousand Islands Playhouse); David in Norm Foster’s My Darling Judith (Upper Canada Playhouse); Alan in the musical Baby (Persephone Theatre, Saskatoon) and Will Shakespeare in Elizabeth Rex (Heritage Theatre, Brampton.) Paul also created and performed in a two-person show based on Shakespeare’s work, called The Unbound Lover. On-camera work includes appearances in The State Within for BBC, Shades of Black – The Conrad Black Story for CTV, Love Thy Neighbor for Lifetime Network and episodes of Being Erica and Kevin Hill. Also, Paul can be seen in several episodes of the new hit sketch-comedy show Hotbox on the Comedy Network. Look for Paul in the upcoming Kevin Spacey feature, Casino Jack. Paul dedicates his performance to his wonderful wife Linda and his two outstanding sons Andrew and David.
