Andrea Mittler

This is Andrea's second season with the Humber River Shakespeare Company and is thrilled to be a part of another exciting show! A Toronto based set designer and scenic artist, Andrea has worked in both professional and community theatre. She is a graduate of York University's theatre production program. Selected Design Credits include The Grace of Mary Traverse (Theatre @ York) Guys and Dolls, Fiddler on the Roof (The Yorkminstrels), Twelfth Night, and Macbeth (The Classical Theatre Project) The Rocky Horror Show (Toronto Youth Theatre), the national stage tour of Cinar’s animated series Caillou, Julius Caesar and The Seagull (Wordsmyth Theatre) Have I None (Muckheap Theatre), Homebody/Kabul (Mercury Theatre), Fat Pig (Geek Girl), Twelfth Night (Humber River Shakepeare Co.) Assistant Design Credits include: Into the Woods (Randolph School for the Performing Arts), The Music Man (St. Thomas Aquinas H.S.) Andrea has also worked as a scenic artist for numerous companies throughout Ontario such as The Red Barn Theatre, Fallen Rock Productions, and The National Ballet of Canada. For the past five years, Andrea has also designed the musical for the Etobicoke School of the Arts where she has been a guest instructor on such shows as Seussical, Cats, and Anne of Green Gables and Urinetown.
